COVID-19 Safety Plan

In keeping with the CDC guidelines and the Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association, Ponderosa Steakhouse is taking the following precautions to protect their guests, employees, and the local community from the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

• All employees are screened upon entry.  If symptomatic, they are required to stay home and contact a healthcare provider
• Signs provided by the CDC are posted at entry points instructing guests not to enter with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19
• Guests are permitted to self-serve from buffets and salad bars
• Ponderosa is operating at 100% of the seating capacity as of Sept. 26, 2020
• Seating remains social distanced of six feet apart, High-backed booths provide physical barriers per the Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association
• Touchless hand sanitizer is placed throughout the restaurant for guests and employees.
• All employees are required to wear face coverings
• All employees are required to wash hands every 30 minutes
• High contact areas such as door handles, phones, pens, etc. are cleaned every 30 minutes
• All serving utensils will be replaced with clean, sanitary utensils every hour of buffet operation
• All tabletops are sanitized after each table turn
• Restrooms are thoroughly cleaned every 30 minutes
• Industry recommended disinfectants are used daily
